Delivery Schedule
We aim to despatch for next working day delivery if orders are received before 3pm and items are in stock. If your goods are not in stock we will contact you to discuss when the goods will be available for despatch, which usually is 2-3 days from order, but please allow a maximum of 28 days. Please log onto your account and view the order history for updates on your order.
Delivery Methods
We use a number of reliable carriers to transport the products to you. Most of the deliveries are sent by TNT carriers, but due to the size of certain items they are transported by a palletised freight network.
Delivery Charges
We can transport the products to any UK location, although our prices are based upon delivery to the UK mainland excluding the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and Offshore Islands.
All orders above £75 are free delivery
Orders under £75 would incur a cost of £9.95 inc VAT
If you require a pre noon delivery (Monday to Friday) this would incur a £20 inc VAT surcharge
If you require a Saturday delivery this would incur a £20 inc VAT surcharge
If your premises or house are located in the Scottish highlands and offshore islands a surcharge would apply. Please ring for details.
Post codes within Scottish Highlands are IV all, KW1 to KW14, PA34, PA37 to PA39, PH19 to PH26, PH30 to PH41 and PH49 to PH50.
Failed or refused deliveries
Where a delivery has been attempted on more than one occasion and failed and then the goods returned to Expert Hire, the cost of the attempted deliveries and return postage will be deducted from any refunds available.
Where a delivery has been refused and returned to Expert Hire ( except damaged or faulty goods )the cost of the attempted deliveries and return postage will be deducted from any refunds available.
Returns
We do wish to ensure your satisfaction with both our products and services. Please contact us immediately if you have any problems and we will do all we can to help.
If you require the return of your goods you must contact our customer services within 7 days of receipt of the goods (excluding warranty / faulty / damage issues) who will authorise the returns. Telephone 0121 333 6373
Expert Hire will under take the collection via a suitable carrier and the cost of this will be deducted from the refund. Please note that collection charges are significantly more costly than the delivery charges approx £25 plus VAT on TNT.
Returns will be only be accepted if the goods are a resalable condition, i.e. in the original packaging, unused and not damaged. If the goods were delivered on a pallet then the goods need to be re palletised for collection.
Expert Hire Ltd conform to "THE CONSUMER PROTECTION (DISTANCE SELLING) REGULATIONS 2000 UK"
Damaged Goods
We hope that all goods supplied get to you in a perfect condition. On rare occasions deliveries do get damaged.
Items damaged in transit can only be returned if the goods are damaged when delivered, that the delivery note is signed as damaged or unchecked.
Faulty Goods
If you find that your product is faulty in any way, we offer a number of options. Firstly if there is a minor fault that can be remedied easily by yourself we will send out the replacement parts. Secondly the goods can be collected by Expert Hire and repaired and sent back at the earliest occasion. Lastly goods can be returned and a replacement sent out. If the goods have been collected and found to be non faulty a charge would apply. For goods to be returned for repair / replacement they need to be packaged in a suitable box or palletised.
Warranty
All product supplied by Expert Hire Ltd come with a 12 month manufactures warranty.
